There are thousands of books on the market related to veganism and plant-based diets! I have curated a handful of my favorites that I have read or use on a regular basis.

Healing the Vegan Way, By Mark Reinfeld

Healing the Vegan Way

Healing is a broad term and can mean many things. In one sense we all could use some level of healing. A hug is healing for the heart. A home cooked meal is healing for the gut. Recycling is healing for the earth. This book, goes into depth about the kinds of healing we all could use a little of while providing many healthy recipes. I highly recommend it.

Aphro-ism: Essays on Pop Culture, Feminism, and Black Veganism from Two Sisters, By Aph Ko and Syl Ko

One of the most unique books I have read in a long time. Written by two sisters, Aph and Syl, the book reads like two people writing essays back and forth to eachother. Of course, it reads like this because that really is what happened. Aph and Syl realized after about a year of communication that what they had was book worthy and set out to blog about their conversations and eventually publish a book about it. This book showed up in my search results because I was searching for vegan books, but I also have learned that veganism connects to so many more subjects than I first realized. Subjects like, race, sex, resources, language, and equality all have a place at the vegan discussion table.

The Superfun Times Vegan Holiday Cookbook: Entertaining for Absolutely Every Occasion, By Isa Chandra Moskowitz

The Superfun Times

The Superfun Times Vegan Holiday Cookbook: Entertaining for Absolutely Every Occasion, by Isa Chandra Moskowitz, is by far the best holiday vegan cook book I have come accross. I suggest testing multiple recipes far in advance to any holiday party or event you see yourself attending in the future. Make sure you feel really comfortable with the recipe so you can relax and prepare it during some of the busiest times of the year. Have at least one dish you know you can make for every holiday.
